The Work Expe­ri­ence Pilot Project (WEPP) is a unique train­ing and com­mer­cial facil­i­ty that aims to estab­lish a path­way for Alekarenge com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers to employ­ment on the near­by Desert Springs Farm (DSF) and ALEDA’s pro­posed hor­ti­cul­tur­al devel­op­ments on the Warrabri and Ilyarne Abo­rig­i­nal Land Trusts.

Work Expe­ri­ence Pathway Project

Co-map­ping on Coun­try, led by Kim Mahood, involves cre­at­ing large mul­ti-pur­­pose can­vas maps with Tra­di­tion­al Own­ers to facil­i­tate com­mu­ni­ca­tion, engage­ment, dis­cus­sion and deci­sion making.
